Shira Wood Design
After several years working in jewellery retail sales, Shira Wood discovered her passion and eye for beautiful jewellery. In 1999, she built upon her work experience in gemmology with a formal education in Jewellery Arts and began her career as a custom designer. While growing her business, Shira Wood worked in women’s fashion where she learned to balance creativity with sensibility. She applies these same principles to all her designs to create jewellery that is, at once, daring and timeless, an artful expression of one’s truest self.
Karen Hammarstrand
My lifelong love of jewellery and gemstones, and a passion for designing all things beautiful, led me to the jewellery design industry five years ago. Working mainly on a consignment basis, I honed an original and sophisticated style, with a sometimes funky twist. Along the way, my love of retro jewellery inspired a unique and beautiful line that incorporates vintage beads and components which is available on a consult, made-to-order basis. Designing a line of wedding jewellery has been a lot of fun, and I would be thrilled to create original wedding jewellery for your special day!
Donna Nevett
I have always had a keen interest in fashion and design, making pieces for family and friends over the years. Two and a half years ago when I became pregnant, I decided to start designing more jewellery to pass the time, as I awaited the arrival. To our delight, we were blessed with our beautiful little “Sweet Pea”! Her colourful personality and bright shiny attitude has inspired many of the pieces I have made since meeting her.
Since then, I have gained the interest and patronage of many retailers and merchants all across Canada, with an emerging fan base in other countries as well.
I personally design and craft each and every piece that I sell, and love to try new and fresh ideas. These wedding designs are my latest love, giving me the opportunity to create beautiful pieces to accent your big day, and help to create your dream wedding!

WANTED: Canadian Fine Jewellery Designers
We are actively seeking designers for our e-commerce store which will be launched soon. We are looking for designers interested in supplying us with bridal jewellery and headpieces–including necklaces, earrings, bracelets, tiaras, headbands, hair pins, and more. We want the finest quality pearls, crystals, and gemstones paired with silver, gold, and platinum. Unique designs and unique jewellery materials are welcome. Custom designed pieces will be encouraged, as will bridal sets for brides, bridesmaids, mothers of the bride/groom, and not to be forgotten—the groom and groomsmen.
